SHANNON
YOUNG - WRITER/DIRECTOR
Shannon is an experienced writer/director with a Bachelor of Arts (Media Arts) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT, 1997). He has written and directed two feature films - Stygian (1999) and Razor Eaters (2004). He is a director with a strong vision, and wants to continue the long tradition of making Australian films that appeal to local and international audiences. Stygian is a hi-octane action fantasy about two young lovers who find themselves trapped in their afterlife, which is an otherworldly purgatory for the world's dead villains. The film screened in the Melbourne Fringe Festival and Melbourne Underground Film Festival, where it won 'Best Use of the Guerrilla Aesthetic' Award. It also screened at the Dead by Dawn horror festival in Scotland (2001). It was co-directed by James Wan, who has recently had success with his latest feature film Saw (2004). PAUL MODER - PRODUCER Paul is an actor/director/producer with a Bachelor of Arts (Film and Television) from Swinburne Institute of Technology (1987). He has an unbridled passion, enthusiasm and love of the film industry in Australia. He is an artist first and foremost, yet embraces the business and 'behind the scenes' aspect of film with equal enthusiasm. Paul starred in the comedy-action feature Sensitive New Age Killer, which premiered in 2002 on approximately 30 screens around Australia. He also directed the comedy-action feature A Bullet in the Arse, which premiered at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival (2003), and won awards for Best Cinematography and Best Sound. It was also accepted into the largest genre festival in the world, the SITGES Festival (Spain 2003). NICK

Nick was also awarded the semi-finalist position in the American Screenwriting Competition, out of over 2400 feature script submissions, and recently was the runner-up in the Shriekfest Screenplay Competition (Los Angeles, 2005) for a script he co-wrote with Nathan Hill.
